About Chris Boardman

Chris Boardman is well-known in Hollywood music circles as one of a handful of musicians who can literally write anything. His original music has resulted in an Academy Award nomination (for Steven Spielberg’s “The Color Purple”) and two Emmy nominations (for “The Hijacking Of The Achille Lauro” and “Johnny Ryan”). He made three albums with the pioneering contemporary jazz ensemble Wishful Thinking in the late 1980’s, and recorded an album of his own smooth-jazz compositions featuring an all-star ensemble.
