Join special guest and legendary woodwind performer Gene Cipriano with moderator David Raiklen for a special Ravel Group. “Cip” recorded on the original soundtrack of West Side Story, which was our score study from this session.

He’s worked with Frank Sinatra, Natalie Cole, Elvis Presley, Judy Garland, Rosemary Clooney, Miles Davis, Tom Waits, Clare Fischer, José Feliciano, Ella Fitzgerald, Quincy Jones, Gloria Estefan, Henry Mancini, Danny Elfman, Michael Giacchino, Herbie Hancock, John Williams, and many more legends. He is full of stories from seven decades of working in the music business. His first film score was the multi-Oscar winning West Side Story. He’s performed on thousands of film and TV shows from Star Trek to Family Guy, including the Academy Awards Shows since 1959!
“A highlight for any musician is to sit next to the great Gene Cipriano. From all of us – it doesn’t get any better than that.” -Dan Higgins
