Score Prep Workflow Workshop

Join us on Saturday, December 3rd for our first Score Prep Workflow Workshop, where we’ll take a look at the techniques and processes our ASA volunteers use to prep the scores we study at our events. We’ll dive in-depth into Steinberg’s Dorico music notation software and discuss our approach to tempo mapping, note inputting, formatting, and more. In addition, we’ll be inputting a short section of John William’s Superman symphonic suite into Dorico to demonstrate how we work. This informal Zoom event is free to all ASA members (Chamber, Orchestra, and Philharmonic) and we especially encourage active volunteers or those who are interested in joining our score prep or mockup volunteer teams to attend. Members will receive the Zoom URL via e-mail the day before, and it will also be posted to our home page.
