John Williams’ Superman Score Study Part III

Our original Superman event back in November has spawned a trilogy of studies! The symphonic suite from John Williams’s Superman started with the villain theme (Lex Luthor and Otis), which consumed our first study, then the love theme (“Can You Read My Mind”) which occupied our second study, and now we’re on to the third and final theme, the big Superman hero theme! Join us on ZOOM Saturday, February 4 at 10am Pacific. As with our other score study events, our volunteers have helped us create a MIDI mockup and custom engraving of the score, so we’ll be able to take it apart and dig into some of the details of the amazing orchestral writing that John Williams is famous for. All ASA members (including our free tier, Chamber) are welcome to join us for this spellbinding event.
