John Williams’ Raiders of the Lost Ark Score Study Part I

We are heading deep into the jungle of John Williams’s score to Raiders of the Lost Ark. Join us ONLINE October 5th as we kick off an ongoing series of Raiders of the Lost Ark studies. For our first session, we will look at the first cue of the film, “In the Jungle.” Joining us will be friend of the ASA and resident John Williams wizard Mark Richards. Mark Richards is a film music scholar whose online learning site filmmusicnotes.com contains many courses where he goes into incredible detail on the techniques and devices of John Williams. We are thrilled to have him join us again as we throw our whips around this very strange and beguiling music. For this event we will be experimenting with a new shorter format.
