Over the past decade Tim Davies has become one of the busiest orchestral arrangers in the world. He has recently written for TechN9ne, Killer Mike, Tobe Nwigwe, Kem, Busta Rhymes, Ledisi, Sia, Dua Lipa, Sophie Hunger, Guster, Parkway Drive, Big Sean, Joe Bonamassa, Ibrahim Maalouf, Cynthia Erivo, the Metropole Orkest, and the BBC, Detroit, Kansas City, and National Symphony Orchestras. Shows he has written for Nas and Common are touring the world.
In this talk Tim will take us through his process and show examples of recent work. Everything from questions to ask the client to how to write interesting and unique woodwind parts will be covered.
