Orchestration & Notation Techniques with Tim Davies

You may have seen Tim Davies’s recent blog post “Error Code 7,” which featured a deep dive into a plethora of orchestration and notation techniques. Well, here is your opportunity to hear Tim talk about it in person and ask questions. Topics covered will include string writing and bow techniques, orchestration ideas for adding interest to simple lines, and of course how to efficiently and correctly notate everything for a perfect session. We will also talk about how it was recorded and mixed with special guest, recording engineer Adam Michalak!
The Error Code 7 study score can be found on Tim’s blog. We will not have a projector at this event, so please bring a laptop or tablet if you’d like to follow along. The venue will have wifi. Here’s also a link to download the studio score PDF.
