Workflow Workshop 2: MOCKING UP A SCORE

After our first Workflow Workshop (available at scoringarts.com) which focused on our score prep, we’re offering a second installment of the Workflow Workshop, this time discussing the ASA’s approach to creating mockups for our score study events. We will revisit the use of tempo maps, learn how to handle imported MIDI, and explore various tools and tips for creating effective mockups, using a short section of John Williams’s Superman Symphonic Suite as demonstration. If you are interested in joining the ASA volunteer teams, or are curious about the work that goes on behind the scenes, or just looking to improve your mockup skills, we encourage you to attend! This informal Zoom event is open to all ASA members (Chamber, Orchestra, and Philharmonic). This event will take place on Saturday, January 28, at 10am Pacific.
