Conducting Workshop in Collaboration with LAFCI

The Academy of Scoring Arts presented The Art of Conducting to Picture led by Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive faculty Jorge Mester and Angel Velez on September 1st, 2018!

This INFOrum was a sold out event! We went over conducting basics, how to work with clicks, punches and streamers and discussed baton techniques. Four lucky maestros from our community had the chance to conduct  a live small ensemble! This event was a teaser for the full 5-day LAFCI program occurring in January. We hope members of our community go on to attend the program, an opportunity that can change the course of your career.
