Bernard Herrmann’s Taxi Driver Score Study

“You talkin’ to me?” Take a ride with Rolando Gori and Christopher North as your guides as we study Bernard Herrmann’s final film score: Taxi Driver on April 11th. We will be looking at themes and their use throughout the film, as well as geeking out on some in-depth score and orchestration analysis. Other topics that may come up would include the use of the jazz source music as well as the recording techniques used to capture that famous Herrmann signature.
