John Williams’ Raiders of the Lost Ark Score Study Part II – The Cave

This Saturday, Nov 23rd, we return to our cue by cue study of John Williams’ Raiders of the Lost Ark! For this outing we are thrilled to have composer and orchestrator David Krystal joining Reuven, Josh and Mark Richards in the discussion. David was a recent guest of ours discussing his album of original orchestral music, Tunes in the Key of Hollywood. He has worked with Benjamin Wallfisch, Hans Zimmer, Pharrell Williams and Trevor Gureckis, collaborating and orchestrating on such films as Hidden Figures, It Part 1 and 2, Old, Dunkirk, Shazam! and the Flash. We’ll be in great hands having David there to guide us through John Williams turn toward the aleatoric for the cue “The Cave.”
