Preparing for Scoring Sessions

The Academy of Scoring Arts is pleased to host this seminar on the all-important topic of preparing for scoring sessions. We will cover technical considerations, creative considerations, and budget considerations covering everything from organization, to scheduling, to session prep, to file management, to delivering your mixed score to the client. Presented by Shie Rozow, Jonathan Beard, Gina Zimmitti, and Whitney Martin, they will share their expertise and experience reviewing all aspects of the process of preparing to record your score, whether recording a large orchestra or a soloist.

This in-person event will be held at the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles. Coffee and pastries will be provided! There’s limited parking, but free street parking around the venue.
