October 3rd 10am PDT on Zoom! We’re hosting demo derby to provide feedback on your music ahead of the shared sessions submission deadline. We want to help each composer to deliver a composition that suits the string ensemble and recording window. Participation in the demo derby is not mandatory, but highly encouraged!
Feel free to submit music to our demo derby even if you’re not planning on applying to our shared sessions, but priority will be given to those who are. If we do not get a chance to play your submission during the demo derby, it will be posted anonymously on our Discord Server for feedback.
- Compositions should feature strings, full use of the ensemble required
- 4/4/3/2/1
- Pre-records or additional instruments are allowed
- All compositions must be original, no ai
- Compositions should not exceed 120 seconds
- All genres accepted
